End-to-end tests

End-to-end tests are written using Nightwatch.js and run on Selenium.

Run the tests with the scripts listed in setup instructions. When running the tests, you will see report that looks like this:

XML reports are also stored under test/e2e/reports/.

Selenium and Java

To use the Selenium driver you must have Java SE Development Kit installed. You can download the latest JDK for your platform on Oracle's download page. After installing JDK successfully you can run the e2e script that is included out of the box.

Changing Selenium to standalone driver

You can lose the Java dependency by changing Selenium to a standalone driver. This requires reconfiguring the E2E test setup slightly. See detailed Nightwatch's documentation for more information.
